This portable path gives kids a variety of ways to learn math and have fun with numbers.
- Start by stepping on a frog and using its number s a multiplier for the student to maneuver across Turtle Creek. Each time the student steps on a big number, saying what the answer to the multiplication is.
- Do the same but use the frog numbers for addition instead of multiplication.
- Have students cross Turtle Creek using numbers are at multiples of 2 (lily pads) or 3 (turtles). This can also be combined with the addition or multiplication exercise.
- The portable path has a non-adhesive backing, so it is advised to tape it to the floor to prevent slipping
